Thanksgiving is right around the corner! We are thankful for our Blackhawk students, staff, families and friends. We hope you enjoy your holiday and look forward to finishing the Fall Semester strong.

The Blackhawk Pantry is excited to support our families this Thanksgiving! If you signed up for a giveaway, here's the details for tomorrow: -Families: Pick up your basket in front of Pea Ridge High School between 10:00-12:00 -Teachers & Staff: Your baskets will be delivered to your building with your name on it!

If any of this year's Seniors missed the Senior Picture Retakes earlier this year, there is still an opportunity for you to get your Senior Photos taken. Lifetouch Photography will be hosting a Regional Senior Picture Makeup Day on Monday, November 20th from 9:00am - 2:30pm at their offices in Rogers. There is a $10 sitting fee, and students will get the opportunity for Casual Photos, Cap & Gown, and Formal photos (Tux for guys and Drape for gals, this is the picture we use for seniors in the yearbook.) This will be the last opportunity to get Senior Photos taken for the yearbook. Here is the information once again: Senior Picture Make-up Day @ Lifetouch Rogers Offices 1704 W. Industrial Dr. Suite B Rogers, AR 72756 Begins at: 9:00 am Ends at: 2:30 pm $10 sitting fee is required to get photos taken.

Pea Ridge High School teachers participated in a culture activity during professional development day. Groups had to write a story when only given a prompt and 5 minutes each rotation. Fun was had by all.

Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 The Blackhawk Pantry and Bright Futures will be open for our families to shop! The Blackhawk Pantry is a free resource center focused on supporting Pea Ridge with protein, kid friendly food and household essentials. Swing by and see us at 1536 North Davis Street.

PRHS choir students auditioned for the all region honor choir. This audition included all schools in our region. Over 800 students auditioned from more than 10 different school districts. Ten of our talented singers qualified for the region honor choir and will perform at the Arend Arts Center on November 4th. Additionally, six of these students scored high enough to represent our school at the state honor choir auditions in February. This is a very prestigious achievement! Our senior high choir students worked very hard for this audition. They have implemented valuable skills that they will use for a lifetime. I am so proud of them!
