Meet The Teacher

Ms. Thompson

Ms. Thompson graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Music Education.  She is in her 4th year of teaching, with 2 of those years spent teaching elementary music.  She has also worked with many local marching bands; Fayetteville, Siloam Springs, Owasso (OK), and a few others.  Ms. Thompson has also performed in several competitive musical groups, including a world-class Winter Guard International (WGI) group.

When asking Ms. Thompson what she loves about her pathway she said, "when music found me, I immediately knew I wanted to share the emotional passion I felt with the next generations. Music is a universal language that introduces you into a world unlike anything else. Lifelong friendships, relationships, knowledge, and experiences are made through music."

Fun facts: She and her boyfriend, Brock, have been together for 5 years and have 2 doggos.  They are very proud "pawrents."  They enjoy outdoor activities, cars, and traveling.  She has also had the opportunity to travel to 4 different continents and she hopes to make it to some others as well!
