The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program that recognizes high school and middle school students for their musical and academic achievements.

What does Tri-M do?

Advanced Mix

This advanced choir group provides an opportunity for dedicated students to perform a variety of challenging choral works. Members of the PRHS Singers excel in vocal technique, musical expression, and collaborative performances. This class is available to 9th-12th grade students and is called “Advanced Mixed Choir” in the course catalogue. Students must audition to be in this choir.

Concert Choir

As one of the main choral groups at the high school level, the Concert Choir focuses on a broad repertoire, from classical to contemporary music. This ensemble is perfect for anyone wanting to explore their love for singing while building their vocal ability. This class is available to 9th-12th grade students and is called “Concert Choir” in the course catalogue. There is no audition required for this choir. 

Advanced Treble

The Advanced Treble Choir is open to students in grades 9-12, but it will be specifically for advanced soprano and alto singers. This choir will meet during the school day, and it is still tentative depending on the number of students who sign up. If formed, the choir will focus on more advanced treble parts, with an emphasis on soprano and alto voices only.

The Blackhawk Singers is a lively and spirited ensemble at the junior high school level. With an emphasis on building strong vocal techniques and a love for performance, this group serves as the foundation for future choral musicians at the high school. This class is available for 7th-8th grade students. There is no audition required for this choir.

Meet The Teacher

Ms. Eubanks

With 18 years of experience in choral music, Mrs. Eubanks is in her 10th year at Pea Ridge School District. Growing up on a farm in Southwest Arkansas, she learned the value of hard work and community, which she brings to her teaching. A graduate of Horatio High School and Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Choral Music Education, Mrs. Eubanks began her career as a junior high choir director in Malvern before teaching in Nashville and Ozark school districts.


Mrs. Eubanks' performance experience includes singing in the Southwest Arkansas All-Region and All-State Choirs, attending the Arkansas Governor's School for Choral Music, performing with the Ouachita Singers on a European tour, and being a color guard member in the OBU Marching Band. She was an intern with the Stephen Foster Theatre Company and performed in musicals like Grease, Anything Goes, and Stephen Foster the Musical. Additionally, she participated in choral performances with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, she was honored with the Arkansas Choral Directors Association Distinguished Director Award for our region.

Mrs. Eubanks loves teaching in Pea Ridge. “The Pea Ridge Community is very supportive of their performing arts students. I am grateful to be teaching here!” Mrs. Eubanks shares her life with her husband, Kyle, their five-year-old son, Jude, and their two dogs and cats.

Tri-M Highlights

Eligibility: Open to students who demonstrate musical talent, strong academics, and community service.


Leadership & Service: Members can take leadership roles and organize community service projects, often involving music outreach.

Academic & Artistic Achievement: Tri-M values both musical and academic success, promoting well-rounded growth.


Performance & Advocacy: Members perform and advocate for music education in their communities.


Networking & Scholarships: Tri-M provides networking opportunities and access to scholarships.
