Meet The Teacher

Mr. Davis

Mr. Davis graduated college from University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture and a major in Agronomy, and received another Bachelor's of Science degree from Arkansas State University with a major in Agricultural Education.

His experiences outside of education include working in the seed business, the agricultural chemical business, and agricultural consulting throughout the U.S. "Working in different geographical areas has given me a broad range of experiences and cultures," said Mr. Davis.

He has been in education for 21 years and has taught numerous courses, including: AG Metals, AG Structures, Animal Science, Industrial Maintenance, and over 6 different types of welding courses.

When asked why he chose ag education, Mr. Davis said, "I grew up working on a row crop farm and have always enjoyed working with equipment, repairing equipment, and watching crops grow."

Mr. Davis got into welding straight out of high school and had intentions of going on the Alaskan pipeline, but by the time he got qualified to do the work, it was over. That's when he decided to pursue further education at the University of Arkansas.

Fun Facts: He used to build custom chopper motorcycles! He is also highly competitive and loves to compete in just about anything!
