Meet The Teacher

Ms. Sairls

Ms. Sairls graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Agricultural Education. She is in her first year of teaching this year! She teaches multiple courses, including: CASE Animal Science, Advanced Animal Science, Survey of Agriculture, and Introduction to World Agriculture. Next year she will also teach Veterinary Science and is excited to work on bringing in more hands on experiences where students can engage with animals.

When asking Ms. Sairls what she loves about her pathway she said, " What I love most about the Animal Systems pathway is the opportunity to teach students not only where their food comes from but also the importance of agriculture as a global industry. I enjoy introducing them to the many career opportunities in agriculture and helping them develop practical skills through hands-on learning. Additionally, I get to support their leadership development through the opportunities provided by FFA. "

Fun Facts: She is originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, and she used to raise/show sheep! In her spare time, she likes to catch up on reading.
