Pea Ridge Middle School has just been honored by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas for achieving remarkable growth on the ACT Aspire!
The OEP's annual report, the Outstanding Educational Performance Awards, recognizes schools like ours for outstanding student academic growth. We believe that growth is a powerful measure of the positive impact our school is making on our students.
In the Middle School Level report, Pea Ridge Middle School earned the following prestigious awards:
- Best overall growth in the state for Middle School level: 16th in the state
- Best Math growth in the state for Middle School level: 5th in the state
- Best Math growth in Northwest Arkansas: 4th in the state
These awards are based on the 2023 content growth score calculated by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. The growth scores highlight how much our students improved from 2022, considering their prior achievement. We've been recognized for Overall growth, as well as exceptional growth in Math separately.
