Ms. Simrell's class would like to say THANK YOU to all the families who helped raise money for the color run earlier this year. Our classroom placed second and won some money for our classroom. Every student got a vote and everyone got something they wanted for the classroom!

Ms. Simrell's sweet kiddos dressed as who they want to be when they grow up for Read Across America week.

March 2nd-6th was the nationally recognized "Read Across America" week where schools work to celebrate reading and literacy, while students are encouraged to read more and learn about the benefits of reading.
Thanks to a generous anonymous donor who loved participating in Read Across America week as a kid, Pea Ridge Primary was able to celebrate by having each teacher nominate 6 students who have been celebrating reading this year. A random drawing chose one student from each grade level from the nominated students.
Attached is the photo of our winners from the RAA contest.
Kinder- Isabella Trimmell 1st - Kaiden Clark 2nd - Easton Cooper
Great work PRPS, student readers, and shout out to our generous donor!
